A review of a fantasy novel by Sarah J. Maas (with a recording in American English).

My Review of House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas

So, I finally read House of Earth and Blood, and wow—what a ride. I didn’t expect to get so into it, but once I started, I couldn’t stop. The world Sarah J. Maas created is super rich and detailed. There are angels, demons, fae, and all kinds of cool magic. It felt like a mix of fantasy and a crime show, which I really enjoyed.

Bryce, the main character, is strong but also real and emotional. I liked her from the start. And Hunt? Total badass with a soft side. Their slow-burn romance was one of my favorite parts. I kept rooting for them.

One thing I didn’t love was the beginning. It was kind of slow and a bit confusing. There are so many names and places—it took me a while to get into it. But after a few chapters, it all started to make sense.

Overall, I really liked this book. It’s full of action, magic, and feelings. If you enjoy fantasy with some romance and mystery, I think you’ll love it too. Would I read the next one? Definitely. I need to know what happens next!
