One of my favourite books is Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw. It’s a novel set in London. It’s the story of Lisa, which is a poor flower girl from London. Lisa isn’t able to speak fluently and often lacks the right words. Once she met Professor Higgins which arrogantly said that he could teach her to become a lady in a short time. But she took his arrogant statement seriously and showed up at his house wanting him to teach her how to speak correctly. Higgins made a bet with his friend Pickering that she could get to buckingham palace as a lady within a few months and agreed to teach her. Which is succeeded and Higgins won the bet. But Lisa wasn’t happy because neither of them congratulates her. I recommend this book because it is very nice to read.
