past perfect - předminulý čas, předminulý čas prostý

noun - a grammatical structure that is used for actions that happened before another action in the past, the structure is HAD + past participle (had done, hadn't seen etc.)

 

past simple - minulý prostý čas

noun - a tense that is used for actions that happened at some point in the past or happened regularly in the past, were generally true etc. Verbs usually have the ending -ED and in questions and negatives we usually use DID / DIDN'T

 

present continuous - přítomný průběhový čas

noun - a grammar structure consisting of BE + -ing, such as 'I am watching TV.'

 

present-day - současný, dnešní, soudobý

adjective - existing now

 

past perfect continuous - předminulý průběhový čas

noun - a grammatical structure that we use for actions that had been happening up to a certain moment in the past, the structure is HAD BEEN + present participle (had been going, had been talking etc.)
