What Could Aliens Look Like?
People often imagine aliens with green skin, big heads, and strange bodies. But nobody really knows what they look like. Scientists say life on other planets could be very different from life on Earth.
One reason is that other planets are not like our planet. Many of them are very hot, very cold, or covered in gas. Animals on Earth could not live there, so creatures from those places might look nothing like us. They could have no eyes if there is no light, or no legs if they live in thick oceans. They might even be shapes we cannot imagine, like floating clouds of gas or tiny creatures smaller than dust.
On the other hand, some scientists believe aliens could look more like us. Evolution often repeats good ideas. Two eyes give a wide view, and legs are useful for moving on land. If another planet has conditions similar to Earth, maybe beings there also developed eyes, mouths, and hands.
We do not know yet, but thinking about it is fascinating.
