The cotton
6 thousand years ago were started cultivave first plants of cotton-plant on fields of Ancient Egypt and China. The cotton is favourite until today and it belongs to most used acous–textile too. Graints of the cotton are got of a berry cotton-plant. It has got very good characteristics for work. The cotton is formed by 90% cellulose and the rest is formed by a wax and by some fat with some water. In tropic place the cotton was used to production textiles for thousands. Some autors stating, that old Egyptians used the cotton long 12 thousand years ago. The oldest writing mention comes from India 1500 years ago B.C. 1 thousand year after Herodotos described the cotton this way: „there trees in plant, whose berry is a wool, which is nicer than a fleece. Indians then make of its their clothes.“ Arabic buyers escorted firts cotton prints to Europe in 9th century. When Columbus discovered USA in year 1492, he found on Bahama cotton plantations. In 16th century the cotton was known all over the world.
