past simple - minulý prostý čas

noun - a tense that is used for actions that happened at some point in the past or happened regularly in the past, were generally true etc. Verbs usually have the ending -ED and in questions and negatives we usually use DID / DIDN'T

noun - the act of pulling something, especially a vehicle behind another vehicle

drag queen - travestita

noun - a performer that dresses up and acts like the opposite gender

 

key - klíčový, zásadní, stěžejní, hlavní, rozhodující

adjective - very important or essential to the understanding or success of something

 

turnout - volební účast

noun - the number or percentage of people who vote in an election

cropped - zkrácený

adjective - shorter than usual, cut short, especially at the waist or ankles.

facade - fasáda, průčelí (budovy apod.)

noun - the front of a building, especially a large or attractive one

 

night - večer

noun - an evening, the time of day before people go to bed
